Summer is hoping to attend Sheffield University to study a degree in Chemical Engineering and was absolutely thrilled to have been chosen. “ I was so shocked, and have no words to describe how happy I am”.
Summer is now looking forward to starting her work experience placement at Leonardo’s in Luton
Summer said that she was inspired by Nobel Prize Winner Dorothy Hodgkin who solved the structure of Penicillin in 1945 as well as the structure of Insulin in 1969. Both Chemicals went on to become mass-produced.
